Arrived safely in Corpus Christi yesterday afternoon and drove the Reeds out to the magnificent Corpus Christi International Airport to pick up Steven Bribach who arrived from Colorado to help pack up the Reeds and drive them back home.
We'll be packing up Bob's equipment and all their household stuff and heading out tomorrow morning for beautiful and hot (90's) Lubbock to spend the night. HOME ON FRIDAY!!! YIPPEEE!
Was a very fun month in New Orleans. Would I do it again? Maybe, maybe not. A week, definitely. It's a fun city with great music, restaurants and loads of sights. But there are so many places that I want spend some time in (Spain, Greece, the South Pacific come to mind) that it makes it doubtful that I'll spend another month there.
And to all those who took time out of their busy lives to come and visit and keep me company. A very, very heartfelt thank you. My love for all of you knows no bounds and I hope you realize it. You made the last two weeks of my trip fly by. It's great to have company on my adventures.
And to all of you who've followed along, especially my newest friends in Westcliffe/Silver Cliff, I hope that you've gotten a few laughs, learned something about the city and me, and I look forward to sitting down and catching up after I get home this weekend. Thank you for taking time out of your busy lives to read and follow my visit to NOLA.
We'll be letting the good times roll in Westcliffe/Silver Cliff this spring y'all. Bring back new music, southern comfort food and plenty of party beads.
Looking so forward to seeing all of you.
Cheers
