Day 29 - And Noah said "Costruisci un'arca me" PRONTO

I know I've been whining about the rain. Rain, rain go away. No joy in Mudville. It's whining. I know it. I'm guilty. It helped pass the time.

But today!

We're talking rain of biblical proportions. Sheets of rain. Mudslides. Catacylsmic volumes of rain.

So much rain that Noah said 'Construisci un'arca me' (Build me an ark), like yesterday.

And all the time I'd thought I'd left the toilet running.

Salvatore continued to stare at something out in front of the house, I thought, 'Oh, maybe he's worried about erosion'. Not.

We're talking runoff here folks...

So in Italy, I found this out today, Wi-Fi- isn't only Wi-Fi in your home, it's Wi-Fi to your home as well. It's kinda like HughesNet, but without the satellite dish. They actually have a antenna, like we used to have on our houses that pulls the signal in. Interesting no?

Lost the signal for about 6 hours today and I finally asked Cristian about it and he said "Much rain. Maybe tomorrow." So I did some investigating and that's how I found out how it worked. Remember, or I'll tell you now, only 60% of Italian homes have landlines. This isn't one of them.

It's slowly clearing now. I can actually see the horizon. The sky is just gray, not black. Gotta go get my water wings and make sure their inflated.

If it's true about "March, in like a lion, out like a lamb", they're gonna have a swell transition to April.

Ciao for now. I hope I make it till tomorrow.
